There are plenty of opportunities in the Chicago Area to Volunteer!
We go on trips to the Animal Welfare League regularly but there are other places that need help as well! How you can helpThere are many ways you can help! Volunteers are the core of shelters around the country and the Chicago area is no different! Each shelter has a variety of what volunteers can do. You could give a dog a much needed walk, or give a kitten some much attention. Each time animal gets just a little bit of attention, they get socialized and prepares them for living with a family. There are plenty of other duties that are needed Animal Grooming, Heath Care Specialist, Humane Education Department, Event Volunteer, Office Assistant, Clinic Assistant, Pet Therapy, Satellite Adoption, Greeters for Reception Area, and of course Foster Care! Besides volunteering your time, you can donate to the shelters! |
